Arkansas State (2–2) broke open a tight game with an 18–0 run to start the fourth quarter, pulling away for a home win over Little Rock on Saturday at First National Bank Arena.

Zyion Shannon led the Red Wolves for the second straight game with 18 points, including two 3-pointers. D’Arrah Allen added 13, all from beyond the arc. Little Rock’s Jordan Holman finished with 16 points, 14 of them from the free-throw line.

A-State shot 47.9% from the field and forced 34 turnovers, converting them into 38 points. Despite being outrebounded 30–26, the Red Wolves’ bench contributed 35 points.

After a slow first quarter and a back-and-forth middle stretch, Arkansas State’s defensive pressure took control in the final period, holding the Trojans scoreless for more than six minutes.
