Ahmad Hardy ran for 149 yards and a touchdown and Jamal Roberts added 100 yards and a score, lifting Missouri to a 31-17 win over Arkansas on Saturday.

Hardy — who entered the week ranked third nationally in rushing yards — put the Tigers (8-4, 4-4 SEC) ahead 20-17 with a 57-yard touchdown burst in the third quarter. Missouri stretched the lead in the fourth with a field goal and a 67-yard punt-return touchdown from Kevin Coleman Jr.

The win marked Missouri’s fourth straight over Arkansas, capping a week in which Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz, an Arkansas native, signed a contract extension amid speculation linking him to the Razorbacks’ coaching vacancy.

“I think the SEC is better when Arkansas is good,” Drinkwitz said. “As a guy who is from Arkansas, I hope they can find the right coach and get this thing going again.”

Arkansas’ 0-8 SEC record marked the program’s third winless conference season since 2018. Only one school has more than two such seasons since the SEC moved to an eight-game schedule in 1994.

As Arkansas’ season comes to an end, Missouri awaits a bowl game destination.
