The Mountain Home Bombers boys wrestling team returned to the mat on Saturday, finishing third at the Marshfield Duals after posting three wins and two losses on the day.

Mountain Home opened with a 42-30 victory over Owensville and followed with a 47-21 win against St. James. The Bombers then dropped back-to-back duals, falling to Marshfield 65-6 and narrowly losing to Sullivan 35-33, before bouncing back to defeat Hillcrest 43-24 to secure third place.

Calin Frounfelter led the Bombers, going a perfect 5-0 with all five wins coming by fall. Steven Sturges and Corbin Lefevers each finished 4-1 with three falls and a forfeit. Seth King recorded three falls on his way to a 3-2 day. Mason Shimmel added two falls and an injury-default victory while also finishing 3-2. Ethan Milucci tallied a technical fall and two decisions to go 3-2, and John Tolleson picked up a major decision and two forfeit wins to complete a 3-2 performance.

The Bombers move to 5-2 on the season and return to action Tuesday, December 9, when Jonesboro and Lakeside visit The Hangar.
