Busy week ahead for Bombers

The Bombers are gearing up for a packed week of sports beginning Monday with teams from basketball to bowling, wrestling, swimming and tennis all scheduled for competition across the region.The week opens Monday with multiple basketball teams traveling to Paragould for games starting at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the Bombers’ bowling teams take on Harrison and Valley Springs at the Harrison Oddball Social at 3:30. Mountain Home wrestling hosts Jonesboro and Lakeside at the high school at 4, while junior basketball squads travel to Nettleton for 5 pm contests. The tennis program will hold its banquet at Legacy Racquet Club at 5:30.

Midweek activities include a Bomber Booster Club meeting at Holy Smokes at noon Wednesday, followed by the girls’ basketball team competing in the Bulldog Classic at Springdale against Conway at 7:30.

Thursday brings another full schedule, beginning with bowling against Elkins and Ozark at Fayetteville Ozark Lanes at 3:30 Mountain Home hosts Batesville in high school basketball at 4, alongside additional seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade games in the back and main gyms. The swim team heads to Pocahontas for a 5 p.m. meet. Girls’ basketball continues in the Bulldog Classic at 6, and boys’ basketball opens play at the Arvest Tournament in Rogers, taking on Bentonville at 8.

On Friday, Mountain Home wrestlers compete in the Conway Tournament. Girls’ basketball returns to Springdale to face Vilonia at 4:30, while the boys meet Tulsa Memorial at 5 in the Arvest Tournament.

The Bombers close out the week Saturday with boys’ basketball continuing tournament play in Rogers against Springfield Parkview at 1, and wrestling wrapping up competition at the Conway Tournament.
