
The Mountian Home Lady Bombers began their three day trek into the Bulldog Classic in Springdale on Wednesday. The game featured the Lady Bombers taking on the Conway Wampus Cats who are ranked #4 overall in the latest Arkansas Sports Media Poll. The first quarter saw the Lady Bombers fall to a 19-10 deficit at the end of the first quarter. The 2nd quarter would see Mountain Home trail by as much as 22. The Lady Bombers would rally to end the half with a 13-2 run to close the deficit to 37-23 into the halftime break. Mountain Home would outscore the Wampus Cats 16-10 in the third quarter to cut the lead to single digits and trail 47-39 into the final quarter. Mountain Home would get as close as 4 points in the final stanza but would get no closer as the Wampus Cats would close off the 59-54 victory.

Mountain Home’s Livi Fossness
Livi Fosness led Mountain Home in scoring with 22 points. Brooklynn Mitchell added 13 points as well.
Mountain Home falls to 5-3 on the campaign and will take on the host Springdale Bulldogs on Thursday.
