A duo of Los Angeles based scam busters who have been featured on a Fox Nation show this year recently visited KTLO to share their experience partnering with local and federal enforcement in the arrest of three money mules in Baxter County.
The three day operation brought together Ashton Bingham and Art Kulik of Trilogy Media as well as 25 officers from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department, Mountain Home Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI.
Ashton and Art tell KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News that these scams often originate in India and through the partnership of Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery and local law enforcement real consequences are coming to those involved.
Listen:
Art, Ashton and Sheriff Montgomery go on to discuss the amount of money involved and distance traveled by one mule who was arrested last Wednesday.
Listen:
The coordinated effort targeted individuals suspected of participating in refund scams, tech support scams, fake prize schemes, and money mule networks. The three arrested suspects now face a range of fraud related charges and are being held in the Baxter County Jail awaiting trial.
For the duo this has been a nearly decade long journey to find a partner in law enforcement to take on the work of bringing justice to victims and create a determnent to future scams. From the successful collaboration in Baxter County the team is being contacted by agencies around the country seeking to duplicate what started in North Central Arkansas. Sheriff Montgomery says the will to see justice for victims is what has made it possible.

With season 1 of ‘Scammed Getting Even’ out on Fox Nation’s streaming platform the plan for Ashton and Art is for the partnership with Mountain Home to continue in the future.
