The Cotter City Council will meet in regular session Thursday at 6 at Cotter City Hall.

Under unfinished business, the council will receive updates on two cleanup ordinances. An update is expected on Ordinance 2025-02 regarding the property at 427 McLean, with a related court hearing in Baxter County Court set for Dec. 17. Officials will also discuss the status of Ordinance 2025-05 concerning cleanup at 433 South Ave., after the property owner, who resides in Michigan, contacted the mayor and the matter was referred to the city attorney for a notice of non-compliance.

New business includes a presentation by Brian Hass on the city’s 2024 water and sewer audit, consideration of Resolution 2025-16 to adopt the city’s 2026 operating budget, and Resolution 2025-17 supporting the revival of the state-run Federal Surplus Property Program administered by the State of Arkansas.

The meeting is open to the public.
