Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide investigation after a person was found dead inside a Beebe home Friday afternoon.
According to investigators, a suspect is in custody and has been transported to the White County Detention Center. Authorities have not yet released the name of the person arrested.
White County 911 received a call Friday reporting that a resident had discovered a neighbor deceased inside the home. Officers responded and determined the death was the result of a homicide.
The victim’s identity and details about the circumstances of the death have not been released.
The Beebe Police Department requested assistance from the White County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the White County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing but believe there is no continuing threat to the community.
