Corp drives in four, Bombers fall to Highland

Jackson Corp drove in four runs on two hits, but the Mountain Home Bombers fell to Highland 7-4 on Tuesday.

Highland took an early lead in the first inning, but Mountain Home answered in the bottom half as Corp delivered an RBI single to tie the game at one.

The game remained tight until the seventh inning when Highland broke it open with six runs on seven hits to take control. The biggest hit in the inning was a two-run single.

Corp provided the offensive highlight for Mountain Home in the bottom of the seventh with a three-run home run, but the rally fell short.

Mountain Home finished with seven hits in the game. Corp and Will Rauls each had two hits, while Drew Haney added two stolen bases as the Bombers swiped four bases overall.

Highland collected 12 hits in the win, with multiple players recording multi-hit performances.

The Bombers will travel to Greenwood on Friday for their next game.
