A man in his 20s died early Monday after a stabbing at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
A man in his 20s died early Monday after a stabbing at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded around 2:45 a.m. and found the victim with a stab wound in the loading dock area. He later died from his injuries.
Police say the incident stemmed from a dispute between two third-party contractors working at the stadium, reportedly involving a cleaning crew.
A person of interest, believed to be in their 60s, has been detained.
Officials emphasized the incident was isolated and not connected to the St. Louis Cardinals or Monday nights scheduled game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Homicide detectives remain on scene as the investigation continues.
