The seventh-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks women’s golf will tee off Friday afternoon in the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

Arkansas is making its 14th appearance in the national championship and will begin play at 2:45 off the No. 10 tee alongside Wake Forest Demon Deacons women’s golf and Duke Blue Devils women’s golf.

Leading the Razorbacks is reigning NCAA individual champion Maria Jose Marin, who captured last year’s national title at 12-under par. Marin enters this year’s championship ranked third nationally and has recorded top-10 finishes in 10 of 11 events this season.

Arkansas has remained inside the national top 10 throughout the entire season and enters the championship with three tournament victories.

The Razorbacks are looking to advance to match play for the second consecutive season and the third time in program history.

Joining Marin in the lineup are Swetha Sathish, Abbey Schutte, Sara Brentcheneff and Reagan Zibilski.

The NCAA Championship continues through May 27, with the final rounds and match play scheduled to air live on Golf Channel.
