
A woman with a lengthy criminal history has been arrested in Fulton county after she asked an acquaintance for gas money, was denied, so she stole his truck. Being held in the Fulton County Jail is 48-year-old Johni Danielle Craft Smullins of Sheridan.
Four days later, the victim’s truck was found in Ravenden, in the possession of Smullins.
Smullins is facing a felony charge of theft of a vehicle valued between $5,000 and $25,000. Her bond is set at $10,000.
PREVIOUS ARRESTS
Smullins has 40 previous felony arrests dating back to 2006 in Craighead, Cross, Poinsett, Jackson, Lawrence, Pulaski, Logan, Pope, Greene and Sharp counties.
Her felony charges have included commercial burglary, residential burglary, forgery, financial or non-financial fraud, computer fraud, theft of property, theft by receiving, possession of forgery device, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled counterfeit substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, furnishing prohibited articles, obstructing governmental operations, violation of state’s hot check law and failure to appear along with numerous misdemeanor charges.
She has received suspended imposition of sentences multiple times, probation multiple times and has been sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Corrections five times.
