Conner Gentry drove in five runs to lead Mountain Home MacLeod to a 17-5 victory over Harrison on Wednesday at Cooper Park.
Gentry finished with two hits, including a grand slam in the second inning that highlighted an 11-run frame for Mountain Home.
The game was tied after Harrison scored on an error in the top of the first, but Mountain Home answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead for good.
Mountain Home broke the game open in the second. Gentry drove in a run with a single before later clearing the bases with his grand slam. Kyson Owens, Easton Shrable and Tyson Bales also collected RBIs during the inning.
Triston Middleton earned the win on the mound, allowing three runs, one earned, on four hits over three innings. He struck out one and walked two. Grayson Atchison added a scoreless inning of relief.
Owens, Easton Shrable and Bales each drove in runs during the offensive outburst, while Mountain Home also drew eight walks in the contest. Kody Shrable, Grady Sheehan and Traityn Lovins each collected two walks. Lovins also stole two bases.
Mountain Home MacLeod will be back in action Thursday when it hosts Salem for a doubleheader. First pitch from Lester White Field is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
