Seven Razorbacks invited to MLB Draft Combine

An SEC-leading seven Arkansas Razorbacks have been invited to participate in the 2026 MLB Draft Combine June 23-26 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

The group includes pitchers Hunter Dietz, Colin Fisher, Gabe Gaeckle, Ethan McElvain and Carson Wiggins, catcher Ryder Helfrick and infielder Camden Kozeal.

The MLB Draft Combine features many of the top draft-eligible players in the country and includes medical evaluations, performance testing, interviews and on-field workouts in front of Major League Baseball scouts and executives.

A total of 335 prospects have been invited to this year’s event, including 195 college players and 140 high school athletes.

Last year, more than 82 percent of players who participated in the combine were selected in the MLB Draft, including 87 of the first 100 picks.

MLB Network will provide live coverage of the combine beginning June 23, with workouts also available through MLB’s digital platforms.

The 2026 MLB Draft will be held July 11-12 in Philadelphia during Major League Baseball’s All-Star Week.
