A detached garage was destroyed, a lean-to was heavily damaged, but the house only sustained minor damage in a fire Wednesday night in Bull Shoals. No injuries were reported in the blaze.
According to Bull Shoals Fire Chief Brent Mitchell, the fire started in the detached garage of the residence at 1007 Lakeshore. A nearby lean-to was heavily damaged. The house sustained damage to some siding, but firefighters were able to keep most of the fire away from the residence.
The two homeowners, with the last name of McKnight, were home at the time of the fire.
Bull Shoals firefighters were assisted at the scene by fire departments from Flippin and Grover Township.
The call came in at 10:12 Wednesday night, and units were on the scene until 12:22 Thursday morning.
