Storms in Mountain Home seemed to greet extreme meteorologist and storm chaser Dr. Reed Timmer on Tuesday as he spoke at ASU Mountain Home for a talk as part of the Gaston Lecture Series. As Dr. Timmer and his team traveled in from the West, locals got to catch a glimpse of his popular Dominator storm chasing vehicle with many stopping to get a photo with the unique armored machine. The storm chaser presented to a packed house in the Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center at The Sheid with fans ranging from young children to adult weather watchers in attendance.

Preceding the lecture at ASUMH Timmer spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News to discuss weather and the changing patterns effecting the area over the past few years. The storm chaser says a change in Pacific Ocean temperatures has been driving severe weather in Arkansas and the region.
