
The Bull Shoals City Council will meet Thursday evening at 6:30 in the council chambers located at 706 C. S. Woods Boulevard.
Items on the agenda include filling the vacant Alderman Ward 3, Seat 1 position. Department reports will be submitted from Police, Fire, Streets, and Water and Sewer, along with a report from the Parks Committee.
Justice Sandra Lee is scheduled to address the council regarding the proposed Marion County sales tax increase for voters.
Under old business, the council will review Ordinance 2025-12. New business includes several resolutions:
Resolution 2025-R-22 declaring surplus property for the Police Department, Resolution 2025-R-23 declaring surplus property for the Street Department, Resolution 2025-R-24 setting the minimum water, sewer, and garbage pickup service bill, Resolution 2025-R-25 addressing the wage and duties of the Damsite Campground Park Host and Resolution 2025-R-26 amending the 2025 Water and Sewer budget.
The council will also consider placing a $200 line item in the 2026 City General Fund budget to continue participation with the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District.
Residents are reminded to register their dogs with City Hall and to note the city’s ordinance limiting households to a maximum of three dogs or three cats.
