Mountain Home and Salem continue to climb the statewide high school football landscape as both programs enter the postseason with strong momentum in the Arkansas Sports Media high school football poll released this week.

Mountain Home (9-2) remains firmly inside the overall Top 10, staying at No. 10 after another strong finish to the regular season. The Bombers are part of a tight three-way tie for third in the Class 6A rankings, joining Benton and Sylvan Hills with 20 points. Greenwood continues to lead 6A unanimously at 10-0.

Salem (11-0) remains the state’s most dominant team in Class 3A, once again earning all 10 first-place votes. The undefeated Greyhounds lead a stacked field that includes Mansfield and Bismarck. Salem also earned a vote in the overall statewide poll – one of only two 3A teams to appear in the statewide ballots.
