Central Arkansas rolls past Eastern Illinois for home victory

Central Arkansas posted one of its strongest outings of the season Tuesday night, rolling past Eastern Illinois 81-60 in the Farris Center.

The Bears shot 56% from the field and knocked down 13 threes on 43% shooting, building a 43-26 halftime lead and keeping control the rest of the way. UCA also dominated the glass with 32 rebounds, including nine on the offensive end, and finished with 20 assists.

Eastern Illinois shot 43% from the floor but just 24% from three and was held to 11 free-throw attempts on the night. The Panthers trailed by double digits for most of the second half.

UCA improves to 3-4 with the win, while Eastern Illinois drops to 2-4 on the season.
