MH City Council plans for busy agenda Thursday evening

The Mountain Home City Council is planning for a busy agenda Thursday evening at 5 as they meet for the final time before the Christmas Holiday.

Items on the agenda will include, an ordinance directing and ordering the removal or razing of the buildings located at 1114 Heatherdown Trail. The property in question was damaged in a house fire on Saturday, the second one in just more than a year at the house.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 296, as amended, with reference to zoning within the city limits, relative to changing area zoned as Residential R-4 to Residential R-3.

An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 296, as amended, with reference to zoning within the city limits, relative to changing area zoned as Residential R-1 to Commercial C-2.

An ordinance adopted pursuant to Act 112 of 2017 approving the application of Parker’s Pub, LLC, for a private club to be located at 511 S. Baker Street.

A resolution supporting the Affordable Housing Program (AHP) application to be submitted to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas for grants to fund construction of Mountain Home Estates Senior Living.

A resolution in support of reviving the state-run federal surplus property program administered by the State of Arkansas.

A resolution providing for and adopting a policy establishing health plan eligibility for newly hired employees.

The public is invited to attend the meeting at City Hall located at 720 S. Hickory Street.
