
Arkansas State (10-5, 2-1 Sun Belt) hosts Troy (10-5, 3-0 SBC) Wednesday at 7 inside First National Bank Arena in a matchup of Sun Belt conference leaders.
The Red Wolves, under first-year coach Ryan Pannone, have won 10 games this season, including a season-high 107-63 victory over Arkansas Tech on Dec. 30. A-State features five players averaging double digits, led by Joey Chammaa (14.0 ppg) and Matt Hayman (11.6). The team ranks first in the Sun Belt with 36.5 points off the bench per game.
Troy comes in with a perfect 3-0 conference record, led by Victor Valdes (16.6 ppg) and Thomas Dowd (10.3 rebounds per game). The Trojans won the Sun Belt Championship rematch over A-State, 94-81, in March. Arkansas State holds a 14-19 record all-time against Troy, including 6-8 at home in Jonesboro.
