A West Plains business owner and longtime community supporter is continuing his service at the state level following a gubernatorial reappointment.

Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe has reappointed Seth Johnson of West Plains to the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission, one of several appointments the governor announced this week.

Johnson is a real estate appraiser and co owner of Southwest Valuation in West Plains. In addition to his work in the private sector, he previously served as a commercial lender and as a finance teacher in the West Plains School District.

He is also active in local civic and education related efforts and currently serves as president of the Missouri State University West Plains Grizzly Club, supporting student athletes and programs on campus.

Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Lyon College. The Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission oversees the licensing and regulation of real estate appraisers across the state.

In the same announcement, Kehoe also named Matt Gildehaus of Washington, Nancy Gingrich of Macon, and Alan Hillier of St. Peters to the Truman State University Board of Governors, with Gingrich reappointed. Sarah Masterson of Monroe City was appointed as Marion County Circuit Clerk, District II, and Matt Ross of Jefferson City was reappointed to the Missouri Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners.
