Mountain Home Police Department officials are reminding the public the discharge of fireworks within the city limits of Mountain Home is prohibited. The penalty for violation is a fine not less than $75 and no more than $200.
Any exceptions must be permitted through the Mountain Home Fire Department, with permits only being issued to certified pyrotechnics technicians. Police officers will respond to all calls of fireworks being discharged in the city.
