The Mountain Home City Council is set to meet in a special session Thursday evening at 6 to consider one item of business.The lone item of business is to consider the appointment of former council member Marshella J. Norell as temporary treasurer for the city.
City Treasurer Rita Murray submitted her resignation earlier this month.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
