Credit: Paul MoscowA new official book is in the works that will tell the story of legendary rock singer Paul Rodgers‘ career through the words of fans who experienced seeing him perform with Free, Bad Company, The Firm, the members of Queen and as a solo artist.
A post on Rodgers’ official Facebook page is asking fans to contribute their recollections and memories to the book.
“We want you to tell us your memories of seeing Paul live — where, when, how you got tickets and who you went with, together with what you remember of him live,” the message reads. “Every memory, however slight, helps us paint a picture for our people’s history of Paul’s amazing career.”
People interested in being part of the book can do so by emailing PopPublishing@gmail.com.
Meanwhile, Rodgers posted a note on his Facebook page today acknowledging that it marks the 44th anniversary of founding Free guitarist Paul Kossoff‘s death.
“He will be forever missed,” Rodgers writes.
Kossoff was just 25 when he passed away of a pulmonary embolism on March 19, 1976. He co-wrote many of Free’s songs, including the U.K. hits “Little Bit of Love” and “Wishing Well.”
