
The Mountain Home High School basketball teams begin the last week of their regular season with another road trip. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be in Farmington on Tuesday with the girls’ game serving as a rematch between two of the state’s top teams.
Mountain Home’s girls come into the game ranked third in Class 5A and ninth overall by the Arkansas Sports Media. The Lady Bombers are currently 24-4 on the season and 10-2 in the 5A-West following their win over Alma on Saturday. Farmington is No. 1 in both Class 5A and the overall rankings. The Lady Cardinals are 24-1 and 12-0 after beating Russellville on Monday. Mountain Home fell to Farmington 86-59 on Jan. 21.
The Bomber boys are 13-15 overall and 3-9 in the league as they come off a loss to Alma over the weekend. The Cardinals are 23-5 and 10-2 following their win over Russellville on Monday. This will be the third meeting between the two boys’ teams. Mountain Home was edged out Farmington 62-60 nearly a month ago.
The girls’ game tips off at 6 followed by the boys’ contest. Both games will be broadcast on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.
