
Clinching a victory by two points, the Mountain Home NJROTC defeated Pace NJROTC in recent competition in the National Air Rifle New Shooter League.
MH NJROTC shot their highest score of the season and broke Pace NJROTC’s four win streak to give them their first loss of the season. The team was led by Aaron Hale, who shot a 256. Other contributing members were Alyvia Hayes, Zach Dooley, Tyler Webb and coach Jason Williams.
Currently Mountain Home is ranked twenty-fifth with a record of 4 – 1 and Pace NJROTC is ranked twenty-second and also have a 4 – 1 record.
Pace NJROTC is from Pace, Florida and were led by Amina Fikri, who shot a 249.3. Also contributing were team members Tristan Cheeseman, Ethan Odom, Camden May and coach John Baker.
MH NJROTC will next face Hendrickson MCJROTC from Pflugerville, Texas, who currently has a record of 3 – 2.
