MHHS soccer teams get swept at Russellville

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had a rough night Friday as they were swept at Russellville.

The Bombers lost the boys’ match to the Cyclones 4-1. Alan Gasperini scored Mountain Home’s lone goal off an assist from Jacob Bzdel, and Zach Padgett recorded 10 saves. The Bombers fall to 0-2-4 on the season and 0-1-1 in the 5A-West.

The night wasn’t any better for Mountain Home’s varsity girls as they were shut out by Russellville 3-0. The Lady Bombers drop to 4-2 overall and 0-2 in the league.

The evening began with the Mountain Home junior varsity girls losing to Russellville 1-0.
