The Mountain Home High School softball team had a tough night at McClain Park as they fell to Greenwood 3-0. Emma King suffered the loss as she pitched a complete game and struck out two batters. Karleigh Drewry led the Lady Bombers by going 2-for-3, Chloe Bohannon was 1-for-2, and Maddie Simmons went 1-for-3. Mountain Home falls to 8-6 on the year and 4-3 in the 5A-West.
Mountain Home also lost the junior varsity game to Greenwood 6-2. The J.V. Lady Bombers drop to 3-5 on the season.

In other softball, Cotter fell to Izard County 5-1, Bakersfield won a high-scoring game at Summersville 13-10, Gainesville topped Dora 26-1, Melbourne shut out Midland 14-0, Valley Springs lost to Cave City 11-0, and Omaha fell to Jasper 19-3.

In high school baseball, Flippin beat Bergman 16-1, Viola topped Greers Ferry West Side 3-1, Bakersfield was edged out by Seymour 10-9, Gainesville won the Hartville Baseball Tournament with a 7-2 victory over Crocker, Dora fell to Mountain View-Liberty 5-4, Mountain View doubled up Riverview 6-3, Valley Springs lost to Cave City 11-9, Harrison fell to Batesville 11-8, and Omaha lost to Jasper 18-2.
