Mountain Home Education Foundation announces 2025 Hall of Honor inductees

The Mountain Home Education Foundation has announced its 2025 Hall of Honor inductees, recognizing outstanding alumni, educators, support staff, and community partners for their contributions to the school district and broader community.This year’s honorees are:

– Clifton Rutledge, Outstanding Alumni Award

– Senior Chief Ray Gonzalez, Outstanding Faculty Award

– Nancy Russell, Earnest Perry Outstanding Support Staff Award

– Robert “Bob” Bodenhamer, Bob Knight Bomber Spirit Award

– Gregory Company, Community Partner Award

Rutledge, a 1982 graduate of Mountain Home High School, has held executive leadership roles in major restaurant chains including Whataburger, Bojangles, Jacks Family Restaurants, and Shipley Donuts. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Shipley Donuts.

Senior Chief Gonzalez was recognized for his role in establishing the NJROTC program at Mountain Home High School in 1993 and for his impact on students through leadership and mentorship.

Nancy Russell, a longtime paraprofessional at Nelson-Wilks-Herron Elementary, was honored for her behind-the-scenes dedication, particularly her work in the Creating Pathways to Success classroom for non-traditional learners.

Bodenhamer, a retired registered nurse and Mountain Home alumnus, was selected for the Bob Knight Bomber Spirit Award due to his ongoing community involvement through Baxter Health, the Baxter County Election Commission, and First United Methodist Church.

Gregory Company received the Community Partner Award for its collaboration with Mountain Home High School’s Keystone students, offering construction industry tours as part of a career exploration initiative.

The 2025 Night of Honors celebration will take place on October 9, at Big Creek Country Club.
