Difficulty swallowing can happen at any age, but it’s more common in older adults. If it progresses into a disorder, called dysphagia, it can lead to malnutrition, weight loss, dehydration, aspiration pneumonia, or choking. Come learn how you can tell the difference between normal age-related swallow changes and dysphagia, and what you can do about it. Also, we will review some prevention tips and exercises to keep your swallow function strong to avoid dysphagia. Speaker: Andy Williamson, MS, CCC-SLP
