When asked about his vocation\, he’ll quickly tell you some days he’s an artist who guides\, and some days he’s a guide who paints. Either way\, his clients cherish another memory of a great day spent on the water. Duane’s recognition as both artist and angler has been honored with numerous awards and accolades\, locally as well as nationally. His art has graced trout stamp designs\, wildlife calendars\, trout regulation manuals\, and Nature Centers. Duane’s recognition as both artist and angler has been honored with numerous awards and accolades\, locally as well as nationally. His art has graced trout stamp designs\, wildlife calendars\, trout regulation manuals\, and Nature Centers. DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Fly Tying\nwith Cecilia Gasiecki \n$27\nBeginner class to teach basic principles of fly tying. Classes meet one night a week in January for four weeks for two hours each\, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Students will tie two each of two different flies at each class\, all of which can be used on our local rivers. All tools and materials are provided by the North Arkansas Fly Fishers. A mentor will be available on a one-to-two or one-to-one basis. The class is limited to 10 students.
