Adams leads Travelers Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Caleb Adams homered and had four hits, driving in three as

the Arkansas Travelers beat the Tulsa Drillers 7-2 on Thursday.



Arkansas got on the board first in the third inning when Zach Welz scored on a

wild pitch and Adams scored on a double.



After Arkansas added a run in the fourth on a single by Adams, the Drillers cut

into the deficit in the fourth inning when Cody Bellinger hit a two-run home

run.



The Travelers later added three runs in the sixth and one in the seventh. In

the sixth, Adams hit a solo home run, while Adams hit an RBI triple in the

seventh.



Arkansas right-hander Alex Blackford (8-7) picked up the win after allowing two

runs on four hits over five innings. Opposing starter Isaac Anderson (0-2) took

the loss in the Texas League game after allowing three runs and six hits over

five innings.
