A former Twin Lakes Area resident and retired Walmart executive has died. According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Ron Loveless died Monday after a battle with cancer.
Loveless was a former manager of Walmart in Mountain Home where he worked from 1971 to 1974. His career with the company ultimately resulted in him leading Sam’s Club through its first years of existence in the 1980s. He retired in 1986.
Ron Loveless died at the age of 73.
