In our fishing tournament update:
In the Anchor Pointe Winter Series tournament on March 7th, out of Anchor Pointe Marina, Dustin and Eric Blevins took first place with a total weight of 18.06 pounds. In second place was Grant Farmer and Scott Boaz with a total weight of 17.66 pounds. Trenton Bolin finished in third at 16.85 pounds. Mickey and Larry Hollis took home the big bass with a 6.52 pound largemouth.
In the final tournament of the Lake Norfork Winter Bass Series out of Panther Bay Marina; Ty Bowman and Aaron Lewis took home first place honors with a total weight of 18.45 pounds. In second place was Chad Stallcup and Russ Breckenridge with a total weight of 15.91 pounds. In third place was Leon Tipton and Billy Madden at 15.39 pounds. Big bass went to Ty Bowman and Aaron Lewis with 5.75 pounds.
That brings an end to the year for the Winter Bass Series.
