In our fishing tournament update:
In the Anchor Pointe Winter Series tournament Dec. 14 out of Anchor Pointe Marina, Dustin and Eric Blevins again took first place with a total weight 19.48 pounds. In second place was Jacob Wade and Nick Lawler with a total weight of 18.4 pounds, they also took home the big fish with a weight of 4.52 pounds. Roger Harp and Bryan Benard took home third place with a total weight of 16.71 pounds, and in fourth place was Jake Christeson with 16.23 pounds.
In the second tournament of the Lake Norfork Winter Bass Series; Lanny Dooley and Chris Dollard took home first with a total weight of 15.15 pounds, and total winnings of $993. In second was Chris Page and Jerry Buck with 14.37 pounds, taking home $596, and in third was Randy Zeigler and Tony Moser with 14.35 pounds, and winnings of $463.
The next event in the Anchor Pointe Winter series will be New Years Day. Entry fee is $120 per team, a one-time membership fee of $10 is required to offset equipment cost per team and the championship pot is $1,500.
