
A Mountain Home resident and current Dean of the School of Business and Technology at ASU-Mountain Home has finished her term as Chairwoman.
Karen Heslep completed her term as the 2015-2016 Chair of the National Board of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), Inc. Her final duty as chair included installing the new national officer teams for the high school division of Future Business Leaders of American and the collegiate division, Phi Beta Lambda. She will serve one additional year as an ex-officio member of the National Board.
Heslep has served as the co-adviser of Kensett High School FBLA chapter, as well as PBL Arkansas Executive Team Committee Member, and PBL State Officer Advisor. She has been a member of the FBLA-PBL Professional Division since 1988, served as Arkansas State President from 1991-93, and serves on the board of the Arkansas FBLA-PBL Foundation, Inc.
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. is a nonprofit student business organization with more than a quarter million members and advisers in 12,000 middle schools, high schools, and college chapters worldwide.
