The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers begins its week-long series of public scoping workshops in north central Arkansas and southern Missouri to give local citizens updates on a Shoreline Management Plan. The first workshop will be Monday evening from four to seven at Forsyth Public School.

The Shoreline Management Plan is for Bull Shoals Lake. Its purpose is to establish policy and furnish guidelines for the protection and preservation of the environmental characteristics of Bull Shoals Lake’s shoreline while maintaining a balance between public and private shoreline uses.
