Three filings for municipal positions in the November election were made in Baxter County Tuesday and five were reported in Marion County.
Incumbent Don Webb filed for the Ward 3 Position 2 seat he holds on the Mountain Home City Council. Wayne Alexander, an incumbent, filed for his ward 3 Position 2 seat on the Cotter City Council and in Lakeview, Carl Hill filed for the Ward 2 Position 1 seat on the city council.
Four incumbents from Yellville filed in Marion County. Melissa Mansfield filed for reelection to her position as City Clerk; Lorna Goodwin filed for the Ward 2 Position 2 seat she holds on the City Council; Vickie Fogerty filed for reelection to her Ward 1 Position 2 seat and Layton Lee filed for the Ward 1 Position 1 seat he holds on the City Council. In Pyatt, Billy Harris filed for a seat on the City Council.
The filing period ends at noon on Friday, August 19.
