A Gainesville man was injured Monday afternoon when his vehicle was rear-ended, causing it to hit a Mountain Home flower shop. Mountain Home Police Officer Josh Evans says 66 year old Ed DeLeon of Gainesville was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries following the accident which occurred shortly after 3 p.m..

The accident, at the intersection of Bomber Boulevard and U. S. Highway 62 west, occurred when DeLeon was stopped at the traffic light and his vehicle was hit by a vehicle driven by 32 year old Mashan Howart of Mountain Home.
