Mountain Home Education Foundation to induct members to Hall of Honor

     The Mountain Home Education Foundation will induct four members into it’s Hall of Honor during the 13th annual Night of Honors Ceremony.

     Among the inductees is alumnus Mica Strother, class of 1990. Faculty being honored by the Mountain Home Education Foundation include Nancy Reed, former German teacher at Mountain Home High School; Dr. Max Cheney will receive the Earnest Perry Award, the Community Partnership Award will be given to local industry Southern Tag and Label.

     The inductees will be honored at Big Creek Golf and Country Club Thursday night, October 6.

     Reservations can be made by contacting the Mountain Home Education Foundation office, KTLO or the Mountain Home Public School Administrative Office.

     The Mountain Home Education Foundation’s mission is to honor former Mountain Home Public School alumni, faculty, support staff and community partners for outstanding service to the Mountain Home Public Schools and Community.

     The Mountain Home Education Foundation raises funds for student scholarships for post-secondary education and teacher grants for teaching projects. In the past decade, the Mountain Home Education Foundation has given over $825,000 to Mountain Home Students in scholarship awards and over $290,000 to Mountain Home teachers through teacher grants.
