
Daniel Toomer of rural Mountain Home was given six-years probation after pleading guilty in Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday to possessing methamphetamine and marijuana.
The drugs were discovered during a traffic stop in April.
The vehicle Toomer was driving was initially stopped by an Arkansas State Trooper on State Highway 5 North because it had a cracked windshield. According to court records, during the stop, Toomer admitted he had methamphetamine, a methamphetamine pipe, marijuana and a marijuana pipe in the car.
The 31-year-old Toomer was sentenced under provisions of Act 346 allowing him to petition the court to seal his record is he stays out of trouble during his 72-month-probation.
