Anyone traveling through the city of Yellville may have noticed new signage at the junction of Highways 62 and 14 next to White Oak Station. Thanks to a recent gift from a supporter, the sign points to the direction of the Yellville-Summit School District’s campus.

Yellville-Summit Superintendent Wes Henderson says the money for the sign came from an anonymous donation.

The sign is two-sided with a green background. It includes the words “YS SCHOOLS,” a Panther logo and a white arrow indicating to motorists traveling on Highway 62 to turn onto Highway 14 to go to the school campus. Henderson says the sign makes it easier for travelers to find the school, especially if they’re from out of town.
