Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominated group to perform at Big Spring Park

     A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominated band will perform to benefit Serenity, Inc.

     Black Oak Arkansas will perform Saturday at Big Spring Park in Cotter with special guest Framing the Red.

     Tickets to the show are on sale for $15 and are available at Century 21 Midtown, Serenity’s office, the Purple Door, and Integrity First Bank. Tickets can also be purchased online at eventbrite.com

     Holy Smokes BBQ and Mountain Home Kettle Corn will be on hand to provide food and beverages.

     Serenity, Inc. was founded as a volunteer organization in 1988 in Mountain Home to provide emergency shelter and advocacy services to women and children dealing with domestic violence. Today, Serenity employs eleven professionals and a group of over 40 volunteers who provide emergency shelter services, assistance with protection orders, and advocacy toward independence, housing, education, employment and healthcare, support group programs, and client transportation. Serenity operates two resale stores, offering clients goods free of charge and utilizing general sales income to support operations. Serenity’s Safe Shelter is located in Mountain Home and services both Baxter and Marion counties.
