
A motorcycle rally to be held in Harrison will close some streets for four days.
The Harrison Daily Times reports, Ride the Ozarks bike rally will be held at Minnie Harris Park October 6-9 and will close Main Street from Union Bridge to the top of Harrison Hill all the way to Central Avenue and Highway 7 at the north end of the Main Street Bridge.
Lakeshore Drive will be closed at Main Street to Spring Street, allowing residents to park at the lots of the junior high and youth center.
South Willow Street will be closed at Lakeshore Drive.
East Nicholson Avenue will be closed at Main Street.
East South Avenue will be closed at Walnut Street.
The event is expected to have over 4,000 attendees. Thursday’s events are open to the public whether they have a motorcycle or not.
Harrison Police Chief Paul Woodruff expects the streets to close Thursday morning around 10 as vendors set up and the streets will remain closed until Sunday afternoon when the bike rally comes to an end.
