A response to a domestic violence call led to the arrest of an Izard County woman. According to Izard County Sheriff Tate Lawrence, 45-year-old Cindy Arnold of Calico Rock is charged with two counts of domestic battery.
Sheriff Lawrence reports Arnold became combative with two other females Wednesday over an argument about a tattoo for Arnold's son and child custody issues. Arnold allegedly grabbed and scratched one victim's arm, pulled her hair and broke her glasses. Arnold is accused of later hitting the second victim on the elbow with a baseball bat.
Arnold is currently in the Izard County Detention Facility with bond set at $1,120. She is scheduled to appear Thursday in Izard County Circuit Court.
