A search at a Briarcliff residence led to the arrest of a Baxter County man. According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, 48-year-old John Rutherford was booked on a pair of drug charges Tuesday afternoon.
The search warrant was executed by investigators from the Baxter County Sheriff's Office, Mountain Home Police Department and 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force at the residence on North Highland Boulevard. Rutherford is in the Baxter County Detention Center on two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. One count is a Class D felony, and the other is a Class A misdemeanor.
Rutherford's bond is set at $2,500 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court.
