A Friday evening shooting at a restaurant in West Plains has led to the arrest of the victim’s husband. Forty-three-year-old Jason House of Caulfield is in the Howell County Jail on charges of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, domestic assault and assault.

According to the West Plains Daily Quill, the complaint filed in Howell County Circuit Court accuses House of shooting his wife, 34-year-old Bobbi House, with a handgun near the north entrance door of McDonald’s on Preacher Roe Boulevard in West Plains. Bobbi House was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later. Jason House also allegedly shot at another man, but that person was not struck.

Jason House is currently being held without bail. Howell County Coroner Tim Cherry says an autopsy is scheduled for Monday afternoon at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
