
The Mountain Home 7th and 8th grade football teams both picked up wins at Cave City Monday night.
The 8th Grade Bombers wrapped up a perfect season with a 38-8 whipping of the Junior Cavemen. All 38 Mountain Home points were scored in the first half.
Brock Bogy got the scoring started with a one yard plunge with Gage Hershberger adding a two-point conversion. Hershberger then had an 18 yard run and added the two-point conversion. Bryce McKay scored from eight yards out with another two-point conversion by Hershberger. Logan Walked scored on a one yard run with Braden Daniels scoring the two-point conversion. Then Walker rounded out the scoring with a 40 yard interception return for a touchdown.
The 8th Grade Bombers finish the year with a 9-0 record.
Mountain Home won the 7th grade game 20-12. Juan Hernandez scored all three of the Mountain Home touchdowns and Jordan Williams had a two-point conversion.
The 7th Grade Bombers wrap up their season Thursday by hosting Melbourne.
