The Cotter City Council met in regular session Thursday night with all council members present where the passed an emergency ordinance to clean up a property at 241 Melba Avenue. The council also agreed to renew the service contract with the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District for 2017.
A presentation on the possible establishment of an American Legion Chapter in the City of Cotter was made to the council by Linda Reed, President of the North Central Arkansas Veteran’s Council and a representative from Senator John Boozman’s office.
A Budget Workshop was set for November 15th at 5:30 in City Hall and the council rescheduled their November meeting to the 17th at 6 p.m. due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
