A West Plains man was seriously injured Tuesday night in Howell County when the wrecker tow truck he was driving overturned. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 63 year old Lonnie L. Sterner was transported by air evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The 7:35 p.m. accident, on Highway BB three miles north of West Plains. Sterner, who lost control of the vehicle, was ejected from the truck when it overturned.
